💙🖤💜 6 Houses, 1 Family 🧡💛💚
It was an exciting day at Creekside as our new students and staff had their Houses revealed! Our House pride is strong, and we hope each of our new House members feels connected, encouraged, and celebrated as part of our Creekside family.

📌District News: Please take note of these important dates for the month of September.

As we approach the one-month mark of school being back in session, we don’t want to let the opportunity pass to officially introduce some new faces around Creekside.
These educators were officially board approved at the August meetings and have already made such a positive impact on our campus and in the lives of their students. We’re grateful to have them at Creekside and appreciate all they’ve done to help us kick off the new school year on a strong note.
Please join us in giving them an official Creekside welcome and thanking them for being such a valuable addition to our team. We’re so fortunate to have such an incredible group of educators, and we’re excited for another great year at The Creek!🍎📚

Showing our Creekside/East Limestone spirit with Crazy Hair Day!! We loved seeing all of the wild, wacky, and creative hairstyles arriving on campus this morning.
To add to the excitement, our PTO stopped by carline this morning with some special guests to help jumpstart our Boosterthon school fundraiser!🎉

Creekside’s Boosterthon fundraiser kicked off TODAY! Be on the lookout for information coming home with your students.
Our Fun Run event is Friday, September 4!👟🎉

Sprocket made his way over to the Creek! Stormy weather wasn’t going to dampen our spirit. The Rocket City Trash Pandas mascot stopped by to celebrate our readers and promote the Reading with Sprocket Challenge.📚⚾️
The Trash Pandas Foundation Reading Program helps inspire a love of reading while supporting educators and bringing a little extra fun and excitement to reading. Last year’s 4th graders completed the challenge with our librarian, Mrs. Norton, alongside their teachers. Sprocket wanted to surprise our students with a special appearance and give them a big JOB WELL DONE! He spent some time in the library, popped into a few classrooms, and wrapped up the day with high-fives for students in carline.
We’re looking forward to another year of Reading with Sprocket and another year of celebrating reading at Creekside!📖♥️

This week all of our 3rd graders united together to create beaded number lines, a hands-on math tool that they can use throughout the year to visualize and build understanding in place value, rounding, addition, and subtraction!
We are thankful to Limestone County Schools for supporting our teachers with meaningful professional learning opportunities, and especially grateful to our 3rd grade teachers for dedicating time over the summer to train in OGAP. Their commitment to strengthening math instruction and providing students with tools that make learning more meaningful is something to celebrate!

🚗 Quick Car Line Reminder!
Please remember that you must enter the elementary car line from the side road—not through the main parking lot entrance.
Also, when exiting car line, please do not turn left. All vehicles need to turn right when exiting. Left turns cause traffic to back up and slow down the entire line trying to exit.
Following the correct entrance and exit pattern helps us keep traffic moving safely and quickly for everyone. Thank you for your help! ❤️

Hello Creekside Families! I hope you're all rested up after the first couple of days of school.
Please make sure you turn in free/reduced lunch applications, student information sheets, attendance policy acknowledgement, and other paperwork as soon as possible.
Car Line- Elementary car line begins at 7:10. ALL cars must enter on the new road that is south of the main entrance. PLEASE do not enter through the main entrance and try to cut through the line. This is a big safety concern.
Breakfast is free to all students again this year. Remind students that if they are eating breakfast at school, they need to go straight to the cafeteria when they arrive on campus. If your child is a car rider and you would like for them to eat breakfast at school, please arrive before 7:20.
It's going to be a GREAT week at the Creek! We can't wait to see you in the morning!
