Creekside was honored to welcome veterans on campus yesterday. Our students loved hearing their stories and learning about their service and sacrifice.
Thank you to all who have served, and to the veterans who took time to visit with our students. Your courage, dedication, and example mean so much to our school community.🇺🇸

Our talented students wowed us once again with their creativity in the library’s annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest! From classic stories to new favorites, each pumpkin brought a beloved book to life.🎃📚

🎃Last week was a spooktacular week at Creekside!👻
From creative costumes to pumpkin masterpieces and classroom fun, our students and staff made Halloween one to remember!🦇🕸️
Now we’re trading the treats for crisp fall vibes and getting ready for another amazing week of learning ahead.🍂📚

🕷️ Spooky Discoveries in STEAM! 🦇🎃
3rd Grade untangled the truth…spiders aren’t so scary after all! Students explored web types, then became engineers designing their own on a budget!💰🕸️ Creative webs, strong builds, and only a few “AHH! It’s a spider!” moments!
4th Grade investigated bats inside & out! 🦇Students explored how sound waves help bats survive, then tested their “bat senses” in an echolocation challenge. Bats are officially the superheroes of the night!
5th Grade turned pumpkins into mad-science reactors!🎃 Students tested ingredients, made predictions, and witnessed exciting chemical reactions that were frightfully fun!🧪

🚀Celebrating Red Ribbon Week and Making Stellar Choices!🪐🔭

Students tested their senses today with Ms. Broam’s Halloween mystery boxes!🎃🍬🧙🏼♀️A frightfully fun way to learn through science! 👻🦇🧟♂️

🪐Red Ribbon Week

Thank you to Mr. Jimmy Gilliam with the Limestone County Cattlemen's Association for visiting the Creekside library and reading to some of our 3rd graders as part of the Cowboys in the Classroom program! Our students loved learning about farm life, cattle, and the important role agriculture plays in our community.🐄📚

This week our 3rd and 5th graders attended the 19th Annual Athens Storytelling Festival. Thank you to our local legislators for providing this wonderful opportunity for our students!
