Reading challenge

Creekside students are being challenged to keep track of how many minutes they spend reading every day, from now through the end of March.  Each student has been given a form on which to log their reading minutes.  They can count time that they spend reading, time that someone else is reading to them, AND time spent listening to books on tapes, CDs, or MP3 players.

At the end of each month, minutes will be tallied, and for each 30 minutes spent reading, students will receive one dragon's scale (10 hours = 20 scales).  The scales will be attached behind one of two dragons' heads that will be hung in the hallways.

Let's see if we can get our dragons to reach all the way around the library!
